203 Boons Online

A big thank you to carleigh for the cute gfx!

Welcome to Boon’s Big Brain Academy!

By Boon’s very own Big Brain Professor Desiree!

Do you believe you’re the smartest user on Habboon? (Not that it takes much…) Well, here’s your chance to prove it with Boon’s Big Brain Academy. Throughout the many future weekly publications of this article, you will face intellectually stimulating puzzles that will be sure to challenge even the smartest of Booners.

Make sure to do an hour's worth of revision before attempting any puzzles!

The rules to this article are basic. Our most important rule is that we plead that you do not use any AI language models to assist you with solving any of the puzzles. We also ask that you do not share your answers with your friends. If we believe you have done any of the above, your submission will be invalidated immediately. The first person who gets the right answer with a well thought-out reasoning will graduate!

Once you think you’ve got the correct answer, please hit the submit button below. Please keep in mind that you will need to provide logical reasoning for your answer to verify that you truly know how to solve the puzzle.

You have all given last week’s puzzle your best shot, but only one student can graduate!

Here is this week’s graduate, followed by the brainiacs who have solved last week’s puzzle accompanied by its correct reasoning:

The answer to the previous puzzle will be revealed in this section!

Below is last week’s answer:

SUBMARINE

Reasoning:

The ANKH represents the meaning of life, a concept famously tied to 42 in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In computing, 42 in ASCII corresponds to the asterisk (*), a symbol often used to mean “everything.” So the ANKH (life) → 42 (meaning of life) → * (everything).
The white numbers are subtracted from their opposite white numbers to generate totals. Each total is then used to modify the black numbers beside them — subtract the total from those black numbers to produce a new value.
Those new values aren’t random: they correspond to capital letters in ASCII, revealing a coded message.
The ANKH itself hides an extra layer. Its keyhole isn’t just decoration, but actually a 0, defining the base subtraction unit and guiding how you calculate the attraction amount between pairs.
When every layer is correctly interpreted, the resulting letters form an anagram of “SUBMARINE”, revealing the final answer.
