Are you intrigued to find out What’s Happening on Habboon? Well, you’re in the right place - this bi-weekly article will cover all things Habboon and more! Stay tuned to find out more about the hotel, albeit rare rotations or staffing updates!

This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

All the users we shine the spotlight on will now get to choose from one of the two following badges:

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on deftones, nominated by lumpsum!

deftones has been part of the community since 2023.

Here is lumpsum’s reasoning as to why she chose her:

“she's my girl!!!! from enduring painfully long disney villain trivias thinking that we'd get a badge for completing it to our lil chats and our Pranks, Laughs, Oh!”

We’ve asked some questions for her:

“What is your favourite way to spend your time outside of Habboon?”

deftones: “i spend my time outside of boon with hanging around with my dogs, playing video games and drawing”

“What are you most proud of in your Habboon achievements so far?”

deftones: “definitely getting to know people and even becoming friends with some, very grateful”

Lucifer is no longer part of the Staff team. We thank her for all the time and effort to make Habboon a better place and we wish her all the best!

mash, jets, KimmyBlue, $, olive and Klofas are the new Trial Moderators! Congratulations to them and wishing them good luck on their trials.

CATALOGUE UPDATES

You can now spend your credits and duckets in the updated Rares section. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges upon purchasing.

Sentimental songs are the soulful melodies that have the remarkable ability to touch the deepest corners of our hearts and evoke a wide range of emotions. 

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

This week’s featured song is Eyes Closed by Florida Georgia Line, submitted by user vx. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

toad: Unfortunately I am a country music hater through and through… this song was really sweet lyrically and even though it’s not typically up my alley, I didn’t mind it too much!

pat: This feels like a modern country music with its beats. After a few listens, it's a good song but sadly not the song that I will always listen to.

4Rolas has asked: “If we were in a zombie apocalypse, what totally useless skill of yours would somehow save us?”

toad: Unfortunately I don’t think listing off the discography of 5sos off the top of my head would save anyone, but I can try!

pat: Maybe twisting my foot to 90 degrees will help by pretending to be a zombie with a twisted foot and get through to them and get some food and stuff. LOL

It’s time to put your puzzle-solving skills to the test - with wit and determination, solving the brain teaser correctly will earn you a spot in our random prize draw.

Gibberish words will be provided, and through those words, you have to find the correct answer that comes from that gibberish. It can be a person, an object, a phrase, etc.
