Are you intrigued to find out What’s Happening on Habboon? Well, you’re in the right place - this bi-weekly article will cover all things Habboon and more! Stay tuned to find out more about the hotel, albeit rare rotations or staffing updates!

This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on dj, nominated by ells!

dj has been part of the community since 2017. He is a Connect Staff member, and you can see him hosting a lot of events & hanging out with his friends!

Here is ells’ reasoning as to why she chose him:

“Because dj is one of them guys who is just so laid back he may as well be horizontal. He's a great guy, appeared out of nowhere one day and became very important to myself and others. His hosting has to be one of mine and many others favourite events.”

We’ve asked some questions for him:

“What is your favourite event game to host, and why?”

dj: I’d definitely have to say UG, just the endless possibilities for themes is a lot of fun

“What are your hobbies outside Boon?”

dj: Nostril exercises and enjoying the company of mattress actresses

STAFF UPDATES

Since the last Habboon Happenings update we have unfortunately had to say goodbye to moderator lance. We thank him for everything he’s done for Habboon, and wish him well!

Along with that, we have also welcomed 3 new trial moderators! Make sure to congratulate and give a warm welcome to prat, nerd and tatiana! We can’t wait to see what they bring to the team and to the hotel.

Lastly, trial moderator applications have opened just in time for snowflake season! Make sure to get your application in before it’s too late!

Sentimental songs are the soulful melodies that have the remarkable ability to touch the deepest corners of our hearts and evoke a wide range of emotions. 

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

This week’s featured song is Temporary by Eminem ft. Skylar Grey, submitted by user 4Rolas. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

toad: I haven’t listened to eminem in a long time, but this was a great re-entry song! I really liked how the song told a story, it was really beautiful and I loved Skylar Grey’s voice.

pat: The song is very emotional and it means so much to Eminem. It is for people who have their loved ones moving on to their next chapter in life and being proud of how far they've come. I felt it. I felt the message portrayed in the song. It's really nice.

toad: I’ve never done karaoke to be honest, but if songs i sing in the car count then it’d probably be Out Of My Limit by 5 Seconds of Summer!

pat: I sing any song (that I can do) because I LOVE karaoke. I don't really have specifics.
