The theme for this week is…
Setting the Scene!
‘On a windswept pier by the sea, a fisherman repairs his nets as the sun sets behind him, painting the sky in shades of gold and pink. Nearby, a young woman watches the water, her eyes tracing the waves with quiet intensity. Being new to the town, she’s drawn to the sea’s mysteries; while he has called this place home for as long as he can remember, his heart tethered to the tides. One evening, their paths cross when she asks him about the best spots for watching the world go by. A conversation unfolds between them — about the sea, life, and the quiet depths of love. As the days pass, their connection grows, steady and enduring, like the constant pull of the tide.’
This week we challenge you to create a short story or poem based on the short synopsis provided above! You can use this as a starting point to your literature, a means of context or from the perspective of others within the synopsis. Good luck!
Word search time! We will provide you with 10 words that you need to find on the grid provided. Please only use YELLOW highlighter for your submissions - basic, right?! You may click HERE to view a larger image.
100 diamonds and an exclusive badge are automatically given!
Welcome to Unscramble - with a twist! Players need to attempt to unscramble the letters to form the correct word. For this week, you will then need to use the words unscrambled to form a sentence correctly!
