These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on mac nominated by Demerci!

mac has been part of the community since 2015. He has made multiple contributions within the hotel by being a Habboon Moderator and as part of Connect Staff.

Here is Demerci’s reasoning as to why he chose him:

“Mac is one of the new staff on boon, and is always very friendly and engaging. Mac always has time to assist and their kindness knows no bounds. I appreciate what Mac is doing for the community so keep up the great work pal!”

We’ve asked some questions for him:

“What's your favourite part of being moderator on Habboon?”

mac: I would say my favourite part of being a moderator would be the community side, ensuring that all is safe and that I can help along side the other amazing staff being able to make sure I can help all users with any requests and supervise events for everyone so that theres never a dull moment. That was a tricky question as theres a lot of things that make it enjoyable!

“What is the most challenging moment while playing Habboon?”

mac: Probably realising that I have a life and that I should start going out more instead of being a little laptop rat.

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

This week’s featured song is Where'd All the Time Go? by Dr. Dog, submitted by user sleepydaze. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

toad:The first time I ever heard this song was on TikTok I can't lie. I've not heard it in full before this, but it's honestly really beautiful and the tone of the song is a bit heartbreaking in a way. With the recent times I've been going through, this song resonates a lot with me!

pat: This song feels soooo nostalgic. It feels like you’re at the end of a movie. Imagine this: Driving on a no-roof car driving somewhere, and the credits start rolling. That’s the song you would usually play. Anyways, the song itself is so nice to hear. The reason why I said it’s nostalgic is because of the whole rendition of the song. It also felt sad and sentimental (right, Sentimental Songs? XD) But anyways, I do like the song and deserves a re-listen.

tweak has asked: “What is your favourite genre of music?”

toad: I actually don't think I can specifically pick one genre as I listen to most! But I can say I hate anything country.

pat: I can’t choose a favorite because I’m very open to any genre. The genres I love the most are 70s-90s, soul, rnb, rock, pop. Yeah, it’s a lot. I listen to a lot of genres tbh.
