This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on merrie nominated by emkay!

merrie has been part of the community since 2020. She can often be found participating in events and socialising in several other rooms within the hotel.

Here is emkay’s reasoning as to why she chose her:

“Merrie is one of the most kind, funniest, underrated boons I know, she was one of my first friends, she literally has me laughing out loud, she is an incredible maze queen and is always down to help people. Merrie is creative and always comes up with the best ideas whether its being social or something to build, i know many other users will agree when i say if you become friends with merrie on boon you're guaranteed to be having the best time!”

We’ve asked some questions for her:

“What would you say is your favourite part of Habboon and why?”

merrie: My fav part of Habboon couldn't be anything other than my friends. I appreciate users Jennie and emkay so much. With them around, I don't need a crowd—just their company is more than enough for me. Also shoutout to octavia, my childhood friend in boon years!!!

“What are the new features you want to add on Habboon and why?”

merrie: I think it would be awesome if we had group DMs. It’d make spilling tea in-boon so much easier and would definitely be used alot!

 Diamond Clothing has been updated with loads of wearables for you to choose from. This can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Diamond Shop > Diamond Clothing in the catalogue!

Sentimental songs are the soulful melodies that have the remarkable ability to touch the deepest corners of our hearts and evoke a wide range of emotions. 

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

This week’s featured song is if u think i'm pretty by Artemas, submitted by user ads. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

toad: This is the first Artemas song I've ever listened to, but I don't think it'll be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed this song and the vibe it brought. I was listening to this while drawing and it was just so chill!

pat: It’s such a chill vibe to the song. I love the distorted effects from its production side of the song, adding something unique to it. It’s short yet impactful. I honestly had some fun with this and would add to my playlist. Overall, it’s a very nice song.

niks has asked: “Is there something you'd love to try but are too scared to?”

toad: I'd really like to try sailing one day but I'm petrified of open water so I don't think that'll ever happen!

pat: I would love to join a singing competition but I feel like I’m too old for having a dream of having a singing career (fear of failure), but I also am scared to sing or even be in front of an audience.
