This is a monthly article based on various event-related games, including but not limited to:

 

mazes • wired games • board games • mind games • escape rooms • competitions

 

Some of these games are designed to test your wit, your patience, and your problem-solving skills, while others are competitive and fun for everyone. On the 1st of every month (unless otherwise), a new game or event will be up for you lucky Booners to participate in to challenge yourselves and win some nifty things!

Without further ado … drumroll … our next theme for the month of September is:

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice!

 

In a quaint village near Habboon, nestled between rolling hills and vibrant autumn foliage, there exists a legendary pumpkin patch known as Boon Adventures Pumpkin Patch. Each year, hotel guests from Habboon are invited to gather and celebrate the Pumpkin Festival, where they would showcase their finest pumpkins. However, this year is different; ten prized pumpkins have mysteriously vanished from the patch just days before the festival. The townsfolk are in despair, for these pumpkins are not only symbols of their harvest but also hold magical properties that bring prosperity to Habboon. 

 

Armed with courage and determination, it is up to YOU to set off on a quest to retrieve each of the ten missing pumpkins. Each pumpkin has been hidden in a different location within the Boon Adventures Pumpkin Patch and are guarded by whimsical pumpkin themed challenges that require skill and wit.

 

What’s the catch?

 

Users will start off in the Boon Adventures Pumpkin Patch room where there is a patch of crop dirt with 10 dark circles where the pumpkins used to be. Each circle is an entrance to a challenge. Users are able to enter any of the 10 challenges in any order. When you complete a challenge, you are teleported back to the Boon Adventures Pumpkin Patch and a pumpkin will appear on the spot you entered the challenge from. You will also earn a badge from each challenge.

 

There will be a timer wired in each challenge room. It will time users for how long they take to complete the quest room. When they teleport back to the hub room, the amount of minutes they took to complete the challenge room will be added to the timer and a pumpkin will appear on the spot they entered the challenge from. This will indicate that time from that challenge can not be added onto the timer any more. Users will have a total of 30 minutes to complete all 10 challenges. If all 10 pumpkins are not in place in the Boon Adventures Pumpkin Patch before the timer reaches 30 minutes, then the pumpkins will reset and you will have to complete the challenges again.

 

Any users can enter any minigames in any order and complete the challenges, so you can do these with your friends! But, you will have to earn all badges to complete the quest.

After all 10 pumpkins are back on the patch, users who are on the patch will teleport to a badge check room where they will wear all 10 badges earned throughout the quest to reach the end of the quest.

 

The Pumpkin Patch quest opens on September 4, 2024.

Get ready for some fun Autumn themed in-client events this month!  

 

We will be hosting these events periodically throughout the month and will notify everyone when the events will be hosted in our Boon Adventures discord server! Don’t forget to join and react in the #roles channel to receive an Event Notification role ping when we are hosting!

 

Multiplayer hosted event

 

Cozzie Change, also known as Costume Change, is a game of skill and creativity. There will be one round for every user playing. For example, if seven people were playing, then there would be seven rounds. Each round will start off with the host giving a theme. It is then the job of the playing users to change their look according to that theme. For example, if the host gave the theme of fruit then perhaps someone may dress as a strawberry.

 

When the players are done changing, they are to stand up away from their chair so the host knows they are ready to continue. Once a player is standing, It is against the rules to adjust their outfit from this point. Once everyone in the game area has stood, the host will tell people to sit down. When the last two are standing, the host should ask those who are playing, and those who are watching, to pick their favorite. The player with the most votes is to sit down and the one with the least votes is now out. This continues on until there is one winner.

 

Prizes: 10 Boon Adventures Tokens for the last winner.

Winner of each round will receive a badge.

Multiplayer hosted event

 

Mixed events in a special autumn themed room will be hosted throughout the month that feature your usual mixed event mini-games like: snake run, melting carpet, bank game and more! Rules for each mini-game will be given during the event.

 

Prizes: 1 Boon Adventures Tokens and a badge.

Multiplayer hosted event

 

The aim of this game is to try and get as many pumpkins on the middle tile in the game area as you can each round. Players will face elimination each round if they have the least amount of pumpkins on the tile. The game continues until there is a last man standing!

 

Prizes: 3 Boon Adventures Tokens and a badge.

1-player hosted event

 

Players will join the room in a queue and enter the game area one at a time. A series of mini games will need to be completed by each competitor before the scarecrow reaches the end of its own course! This will vary from a different number of games, such as snake run and banzais, which the player must cross as fast as they can to win!

 

Prizes: 3 Boon Adventures Tokens and a badge.

4-player hosted event

 

The player and their opponents will need to push a pumpkin sideways, and back and forth between themselves only when the pumpkin is in front of them. This will be controlled via arrow plates for each player, who must sit back in their seat quickly after moving the pumpkin. Any players who do not do this in time and are hit by the pumpkin are out. All four players will need to repeat this until one person remains - the last one in, wins!

 

Prizes: 2 Boon Adventures Tokens and a badge.

2-player event

 

Classic game of Connect 4, except you use pumpkins instead of chips. The game is automatic and can earn you a badge; but if a host is in there hosting the game, the winner also earns 2 BA tokens per win! This game will be open at all times, and you can find it in the Staff Picks section of your navigator!

 

Prizes: 2 Boon Adventures Tokens and a badge.

Throughout the month of September, the BA Staff will randomly drop a pumpkin into the general chat for players to pick as they land! The first person to say ‘PICK!’ will win the pumpkin! All pumpkins won will be recorded in a scoreboard, and the top 3 participants will win special badges, and every player who participates will win a badge!

 

Prizes:

 1st place: 20 Boon Adventures Tokens and a 1st place badge.

2nd place: 15 Boon Adventure Tokens and a 2nd place badge.

3rd place: 10 Boon Adventure Tokens and a 3rd place badge.

Participants: 3 Boon Adventure Tokens and a participation badge.

 

A channel will be available throughout the whole month for players to draw and design their own pumpkins! A simple template will be put into the channel for all participants to use! Be as creative, nostalgic, funky or as classic as you want to be! We look forward to seeing some amazing designs! 

 

Prizes:

1st place: 30 Boon Adventure Tokens

2nd place: 20 Boon Adventure Tokens

3rd place: 10 Boon Adventure Tokens

All participants will receive a badge!

 

In the Discord channel, a template will be posted by the host. It is up to you to guess the correct coordinates of where you think the apples are located. The first person to guess the right coordinates after the template is posted, wins.
