Are you intrigued to find out What’s Happening on Habboon? Well, you’re in the right place - this bi-weekly article will cover all things Habboon and more! Stay tuned to find out more about the hotel, albeit rare rotations or staffing updates!

This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on partynextgab nominated by Clumzy!

partynextgab has been part of the community since 2020. She can often be found participating in events and socialising in several other rooms within the hotel.

Here is Clumzy’s reasoning as to why he chose her:

“For being a respected Boon real estate agent for building purposes - as well as a hardcore quester. Also a dedicated human being that brings a ray of sunshine with her when she enters a room!”

We’ve asked some questions for her:

“Do you have any goals that you want to achieve or have already achieved in Habboon?”

partynextgab: I’ve definitely achieved a lot of building goals, I do builds for commission with my partner Clumzy. I’m a maze legend, I’ve become more confident in events and quests because I’ve definitely got some skills now lol. Future goals I would say are to just become even better at building, maybe host events on my own, be allowed access to roomads and keep stocking up on my wearables.

“Who are the people that made your experience in Boon fun and exciting? And why?”

partynextgab: User Clumzy has made my experience fun and exciting. He made me feel more confident doing quests, events and mazes because he helps me a lot and never leaves me behind. He is also my building partner and has almost taught me everything I know when it comes to building! We also have a friendship outside of boon and he’s just the best. Special shout-out to users ToyStory, TiddyGraber and ,keen for also becoming truly special friends even outside of boon. We speak almost everyday and I know they will always have my back!! Also shout-out to user blankspace_ who is my bestfriend in real life & is the one who introduced me to Boon in 2014!

CATALOGUE UPDATES

Weekly Rares have been updated. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares > Weekly Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges when buying these rares.

Weekly Clothings have also been updated. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares > Clothing Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges when buying these rares.

Diamond Clothing has also been updated with loads of wearables for you to choose from. This can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Diamond Shop > Diamond Clothing in the catalogue!

New Furni alert! For those who haven’t checked yet, there are new Circus furniture for you to try out. Go to Furniture > Circus and have fun building your rooms with it.

Sentimental songs are the soulful melodies that have the remarkable ability to touch the deepest corners of our hearts and evoke a wide range of emotions. 

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

This week’s featured song is Space Bound by Eminem, submitted by user 4Rolas. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

kie: Eminem isn’t really my vibe of music tbf as I’m not really into rap-style music (if that isn’t obvious from my persona). However, this song was actually quite catchy & has a nice melody which was played under the lyrics. The chorus definitely gets stuck in your head too & is instantly recognisable when it gets into the chorus!

pat: The song sounded so familiar when I heard the chorus. Must’ve heard it before when I was a kid. But yeah, this song, like any other Eminem classics, showcased his amazing rap skills. The beat is very nice, and cool lyrics with the feeling of sadness from its arrangement. Overall, a nice song.

fizzy has asked: “Do you have any hobbies you'd like to learn in the future?”

kie: I’d honestly love to pick up learning another language! I have an A-Level in Spanish & would love to continue learning this in the future as it’s something I enjoyed all the way through school and college. I always had a passion for french so might try to start that language again through duolingo! :)

pat: I’ve always wanted to learn how to play tennis but it’s hard to find people to play with. Would love to try it in the future though.
