This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on kachow nominated by amber!

kachow has been part of the community since 2013. You can see him around the hotel actively participating with events, mazes & quests - often placing on top of the GOTW Leaderboard!

Here are amber’s reasonings as to why she chose him:

“he is a good gkr player and good old pal”

We’ve asked some questions for him:

“As you are an active member of the events community, what is your favourite game to participate in?”

kachow: my favourite game is events has to be add it up with 9 dices and dicemasters not holodices im good at counting the dots on the dice better than anybody else on the hotel

“What are you other hobbies outside Boon?”

kachow: my main hobby is watching kung fu panda. i love kung fu panda. kung fu panda taught me that anybody can achieve greatness. po is a fat panda and he became the dragon warrior and protected the valley of peace from tai lung who is a snow leopard which was trained by master shifu who is a red panda and also taught po the panda aswell. good movie

It’s time to keep up to date with all things that have happened within the hotel in the past weeks!

Boon has turned 11! For Habboons 11th birthday, the Staff Team have been working hard to compile a wide variety of events which you can participate in, including Deal or No Deal or Boons Birthday Bash Maze!

Unfortunately, since the last edition of Habboon Happenings we have said goodbye to 2 of our lovely staff members, cotton (Senior Moderator) & luna.fath (Trial Moderator), however have welcomed 3 more to the team! Let’s congratulate mac, blegh, snail and hydrogen to the staff team!

This week’s featured song is ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, submitted by user clumzy. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

kie: I absolutely adore this song! It’s so beautifully smooth, and Ed Sheerans tone matches the vibe perfectly. This song has been a firm favourite of mine for many, many years & will be for such a long time. I’d love nothing more than to see Ed Sheeran perform live as I think he’s an amazing artist!

pat: This one was a big hit when I was in high school, and it really is one of the most famous songs in the 2010's that a lot of people enjoyed. Honestly, it became too overplayed years ago that I just got sick of it everytime I hear it from radios, performance videos, etc. BUT, it cannot be denied that when it was freshly released, I liked it. Ed's musicianship is amazing as he captures the message of this song with his arrangement and lyrics about love. It's perfect for marriages, proms & romantic dates. For those who are living under a rock and don't know this song, take a listen and you'll like it!

Lula has asked: “Who is your Hero?”

kie: I have a few people who I’d deem to be my ‘hero’. Firstly, it goes without saying that my family have been amazing throughout my entire life and so supportive of anything that I wanted to do, pushing me to achieve my best. Secondly, my manager at the café - genuinely one of the most influential people, helping me boost my confidence both on the job and in my life outside of work! Thirdly, my housemates at university - ever since we all met 3 years ago, we have got along like a house on fire and made an experience that is ultimately quite a daunting one into an unforgettable, life changing experience!

pat: My heroes are my parents. I wouldn't have been where I am right now if it wasn't for them. Yea, they are homophobic and have a boomer mindset, but it doesn't really change the fact that they raised me well and gave me everything I needed to make it this far in my life.

This week's edition is Maths Puzzles.

Correctly input the correct 1 digit number into the missing squares to complete the puzzle! There are some rules, however;
